things off of the top was that we heard former president trump again say the election was rigged and talk about ballot stuffing. the lelection was not rigged. here is trump s false claim on this tonight. a lot of people in this audience and maybe a couple that don t but most people understand what happened. that was a rigged election and it s a shame we had to go through it. can you publicly acknowledge you did lose the 2020 election. let me just go on. if you look at truth of vote, they found millions of votes on government cameras where they were stuffing ballot boxes. so with all of that i think it s a shame that what happened, i think it s a very sad thing for our country. now, there is just no basis for this claim. it is a lie. we have heard a trump claim before there was ballot stuffing by election works are in georgia. it has been debunked, including by election officials in
stuff like this and reach across the aisle. so republicans love her in the senate. they love working with her. they think she s a partner who can really get things done. this immigration bill, though, i haven t heard any serious talk that this is something they re going to get done in a lame duck session that s already pretty crowded. on the house side matt gaetz told part of cnn s team that, quote, the person who is ultimately going to be speaker isn t even a candidate yet. what do you make of that and kevin mccarthy s chances? what i make of that is that we ve seen some figures raise their hand and say they re running against kevin mccarthy. and if you look at, say, that person andy biggs doesn t have the votes, bob goode doesn t have the votes so it s got to be kevin mccarthy but that s not how the election works. i think matt gaetz is saying if
convinced, rudy giuliani hopefully explain the plot to steve bannon back in december of 2020, after joe biden had won the election, the states were preparing their electors. why is the trump campaign sunday in its own slate of electors to these state capitals? for example, let s say the state of georgia decides to continue its hearings, and decides that the count is grossly wrong, not a trump actually won georgia, if we do not have a group of electors selected today, there is a question as to whether we can select electors after today. okay, so that is an alternate part of the same pot. you have got the eastman pot says, if you sundays electors, it is disputed, then the ultimate plot is we have these electors hanging out in case or pressure efforts in these states to overturn the election works, and we could just slip those in. so what he is saying is that if the big lie of election fraud works, let s say he pressured
ads and a lot of money spent so far with this kind of split messaging where it s trying to tie republicans to trump but it s actually the democrats doing to try to sabotage someone, you know, in a future election or a primary. in this case though i think we talk about whether virginia is a bellwether. here s why i think it is. because like virginia has been a swing state. that used to be a red state that s trending blue for a long time. what conservatives i talk to now say it s a blue state. it s not at swing state anymore. the country population-wise overwhelmingly favors a candidate like biden over a candidate like trump, but that s not how the electoral college works, and that s n.o.w. not how the virginia election works if turnout isn t high. virginia is a microcosm of the truth that it doesn t matter what your numbers are if your voters don t turn out and this turnout effort is like this battle for motivated republican voters versus democratic voters who are really confused about
i get all sorts of, you know, mail marketing if you will across the board. the republicans are reaching out. as we saw in the past cycles, most of this reaching out involves a lot of disinformation that they re targeting our communities. and this is a problem because the other side is now reaching out and talking about these problems, informing the voter, informing the hispanic community how our system works, how our election works. why do you think latino men specifically have veered towards the republican party? i think it has to do with the origin where we all come from. we come from latin america, south america. we re accustomed to these authoritarian leaderships, and that just attracts these maybe first or second generation, hispanics and latinos that are here. i think a lot of these hispanic males that went over to trump, they weren t voters that were voting on a regular basis
