Short commute i hit a lot of standing water. That woke me back up again. Hi, mike. Yeah. Definitely some minor ponding out there as we head through the morning commute. The deeper we get into the morning commute the less likely youll run into that. We have patches of drizzle and light rain to contend with. A bit of fog out there as we try to keep things damp. That will transition after the morning commute into a few waves of showers that should be over around 3 00, 4 00. They have two lanes shut down as well as that fremont off ramp. They will try to exit the vehicles to get them off the freeway. Expect the brake lights. We got light rain falling across the entire south bay. This is the way it looks on 87 as we take a look at the tower cam right there. Ill ask the general manager if you have any comment on this. We are essentially a low bid city. There is a bid process. The City Attorneys Office has looked into the contractor and for we are very close to being finished with this contract. Its not really new money per se. Its part of the contingency budget. Like any construction project we have change orders and modifications. This is within budget. Thank you, any other comments . This was at the Capital Committee. We were given assurances that moving forward they wouldnt be allowed to bid on projects. The problems and allegations against this contractor doesnt relate to this contract. There was a determination in order to complete the project, basically we had to finish the project. The allocation as it general manager noted doesnt require new money to finish the project but the conclusion was while we understand the allegations and the problems with the contractor. We just had to finish the project but moving forward, the commission
