Health director doctor grant colfax says that San Francisco will run out of icu beds in the coming weeks. Right now icu bed capacity here in the bay area is around 24 . A number of Health Leaders across the bay area say they dont want to take any chances. So stay at home orders will also go into effect tonight for people who live in the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California because those regions have already fallen below the 15 icu bed capacity in less than an hour the stay at home order will go into effect for 3 bay area counties. The City Attorneys Office has looked into the contractor and for we are very close to being finished with this contract. Its not really new money per se. Its part of the contingency budget. Like any construction project we have change orders and modifications. This is within budget. Thank you, any other comments . This was at the Capital Committee. We were given assurances that moving forward they wouldnt be allowed to bid on projects. The problems and allegations against this contractor doesnt relate to this contract. There was a determination in order to complete the project, basically we had to finish the project.
