It was a lot of fun, such a great space. The topic of the presentation was success through vendor management, and i think we had some good eking out when it came to high levels of operation of events that are complex with multiple different kinds of foods and beverages and different kinds of backgrounds of vendors. We had speakers and presenters from event hub, the s. F. Street festival, and eat and drink as of. Attendees included organizers from festivals and venues on the fillmore street fair, the midway , union square bid, how we festival and the street fair, and a bunch of other new faces. And some producers really pulled me aside and said how much they appreciated the content, and how much they appreciated the party the event where everyone gets up and says who they are and what they represent in terms of an event or innovation. It really helps them him find people they wanted to talk to. That was really exciting. There will be another one in the fall. And then circling back about
Solve all of your problems, including capacity. Thats got as much capacity as 4th and king in terms of storage. Let me wrap up very quickly. In the u. K. , i came from the southeast. In the 80s, i saw the chunnel getting build. The next thing was the connection between the chan tunnel and the company that did this was a company that in 2015 showed the highspeed Rail Authority they wanted the contracts, and they were turned away. These people are gone. They moved to texas. They built a texas center right now with private funding. What im suggesting moving forward is we reach out to people, it will be a cross rail. Build five stations each the size of an Aircraft Carrier under existing building and existing tunnels and see what they can do in terms of government and engineering. These people know how theyre going to get there. Thank you. Thank you, mr. Clerk the tjpa kbrboard o directors meeting is back in closed session. And with that, theres nothing to report, and well adjourn the meet
We think we know what some of those solutions may be but we want this committee to have full hands on in determining what those positions are. I dont have a question, i just have a comment. I want to applaud our mayor for taking these steps. I think we have all known that if you are a smaller street festival or smaller cultural festival, that sometimes the bureaucracy and the fees are so much that it is almost impossible to put something on. Suggest that we are able to talk about this now and bring people together is a huge step and it definitely shows we have a mayor who cares about these specific events, and that is awesome. Thank you. I just have one quick comment i think absolutely this is fantastic that this is happening over the years theyve heard lots about ten b. And the Police Department policy. It is something that nonprofit organizations in smaller groups have trouble predicting and then feel like often at the last minute they get a lot of high fees for extra officers, so i
