The La Crosse School Board has promised more opportunities for citizens to offer their opinions on a $53 million elementary school building project, which includes a new elementary school at the site of the Hogan Administration Center and an addition to State Road Elementary School. The board has launched a series of community engagement sessions, and board members promised more sessions during the summer.
The potential closing of two elementary schools is likely to be part of a long-range facilities plan that impacts school buildings throughout the School District of La Crosse.
