Just over one in five (21 percent) parents will have to remove their child from private school and one in four (25 percent) will have to take on additional borrowing to be able to afford rising school fees.

In a retaliatory move, Moradabad Association of Private Schools have put up posters of ‘no fees-no exams’ outside the schools in the city. With most of the schools now open, the administration has demanded that the parents clear the dues. Taking a hard stand, the schools have now denied permission to the students from sitting for the exams.
