The shooting happened at about 1130 tuesday morning, bringing dozens of Oakland Police chp officers and Alameda County sheriffs deputies to the school. The campus was placed on lockdown. Officers detained four individuals, two of whom were placed under arrest. Oakland Police Captain jake bassett says officers recovered a gun. Police would not say if those in custody are students at skyline. Investigators say they werent prepared to discuss what led up to the shooting. Officers conducted a methodical search of the campus and thankfully there were no reported injuries. Parents rushed to campus waiting for hours to reunite with their kids streets near the school were jammed as word spread of the shooting.
