Chp says that the fire is now 10 contained. Theres no estimate time of reopening the freeway. Traffic is heavy in the area. Chp crews are directing cars around the area as the fire reaches the road. They are trying to protect wildlife, like this deer, to stay safe. We are also getting new information about the damage left behind by the wall fire burning near oroville. At least 41 homes have been destroyed since the fire started last friday. More than 4,000 people have been ordered to evacuate. But some have since been allowed to return home.
