A chance of rain late thursday, on and off showers friday and saturday. But, of course, the big story this morning will be the freeze warnings that we have especially in parts of the north bay. This continues until 9 00 especially for a lot of our north bay valleys. Were feeling some of the coolest temperatures dipping back into the mid20s. Any event he or his family members are supposed to be at are postponed. Now, as for Vice President mike pence, he has tested negative and will do Campaign Events as scheduled. Two people who were at last saturdays white house event announcing the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett for the Supreme Court have tested positive. Its not clear if there is a link. Reaction has been coming in as the situation evolved throughout the day. Red flag warning is set to go into effect later this weekend to parts of the bay area are bracing for what is expected to be the strongest wind event of the year. Lets go to chief meteorologist Lawrence Karnow who is tracking the dangerous fire conditions certainly dont like to see an active fire were forecasting a potentially some of the strongest winds. Weve seen in quite some time at least this year maybe even longer, but certainly a possibility some firestorm events we continue to see this but. The winds out there right now in and around this active fire. The pope fire we continue to see some of those winds out of the west thats not a bad wind thats a more moist when thats developing right now. We saw as high as 80 Miles Per Hour this afternoon now to 8 to 10 Miles Per Hour. So just some light winds blowing now on likely going to see those winds pick up a more out of a westerly wind as we head toward tomorrow, but.
