Patel had approached the magisterial court submitting that he was stopped by immigration authorities at the Bangalore International Airport while boarding a flight to the US.
The CBI had filed a charge sheet against former Amnesty India chief Aakar Patel in the FCRA violation case last December. Aakar had approached the court recently against a lookout circular issued against him by the CBI.
The investigation agency had filed a plea against a magistrate court order directing to revoke the notice that barred the Amnesty India chair from going abroad.
