Off form Town dropped more home points as they drew 1-1 at home to Coventry. Marcus Bent put the Blues ahead on 16 minutes but Micky Doyle equalised for the visitors just after the half hour. Town probably had the better of the second half but failed to grab the winner, sub Ian Westlake coming closest.
Town s miserable start to the season continued with a 2-1 home defeat to West Ham. However, there were signs of improvement in a second half where Jermaine Wright s deflected shot pulled a goal back, West Ham having gone two-up through Jermain Defoe and David Connolly.
