Sanjay Raut got bail from the court after being in custody since July 31 for the Patra Chawl scam case. He was arrested by Enforcement Directorate under money laundering case.

Informally interacting with the mediapersons outside the court where he was brought for his bail case plea, Raut was asked for his reaction to the Election Commission of India (ECI) freezing the Sena`s iconic `bow and arrow` symbol and its name (Shiv Sena) last week.
Jailed Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday appeared before a magistrate in Mumbai through video conference in a defamation case filed by BJP leader Kirit Somaiya's wife Medha Somaiya and pleaded not guilty.
Sanjay Raut was produced before special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court judge MG Deshpande after the expiry of his ED custody on Monday afternoon.
