Thank you for the support | News, Sports, Jobs - SANIBEL-CAPTIVA - Island Reporter, Islander and Current

Thank you for the support By Staff | Apr 20, 2021 To the editor: The Shell Islands Garden Club would like that thank our island community for its enthusiastic response to our caladium fundraiser. As a result, there will be dozens of Sanibel and Captiva gardens bursting with showy caladium colors throughout the spring and summer. Proceeds from the caladium sales will benefit island beautification projects, as well as nonprofit groups that promote native plant landscaping and gardening for wildlife. Also, a big thank you goes out to all those who visited and enjoyed SIGC’s “Art in Bloom” exhibit this month at the Sanibel Public Library. A joint production by floral arrangers from the SIGC and artists from the Sanibel-Captiva Art League, the exhibit will return again in 2023. See you all then!
