As the link, effects of the drought continue to alter the states landscape and raise the risk of wildfires. Bay area firefighters got together today to talk about drones. The Menlo Park Fire Department demonstrated how drones can save lives and property. This is a symposium for Fire Departments today at stanford. So far, only 23 Fire Departments in california are using drones. Menlo park first started using them in 2014. This is Game Changing technology for us. Were firefighters first, but when we do get the chance to put this up, we can gain an aerial view which can allow the incident command to possibly change the way he is at t cloudy running the operation and possibly save firefighters lives. Sunshine gardens neighborhood is being warned not to drink tap water. This yesterday morning a cal water operator noticed someone cut the locks on one of the 250,000gallon water tanks. He found graffiti and possible tampering with the venting system. They took initial water samples. Its a very heavy system. We dont think there was a breach. Where the fire started there is a lot of dense brush and oak trees. They are trying to make it up a steep hill to prevent the fire from coming up here and into neighborhoods.
