Reporter when that boy arrived here late tuesday night in grave condition, the result police say of a brutal beating received at the hand of his mothers boyfriend, all of it over a piece of cake. With his mother at work on tuesday, the boy was left at this apartment in the care of his uncle and his mothers boyfriend robert leroy wilson. According to court documents, when wilson caught the boy stealing cake, he cuffed his hands and beat the defenseless child until he was unresponsive and stiff. Hackers stole 19. 7 million Social Security numbers of americans who went through federal government background checks. They took another 1. 8 million from the applicants friends and family. The data had been stored by the office of personnel management, essentially the Human Resources department for the federal government. The hackers swept up addresses, education and employment history along with mental health, criminal and financial records. More than 1 million americans fingerprints were stolen.
