Music music music. I ve tried over the last 2 months to get in as much of my favourites as I could, but of course it s just no possible. You d think 3 hours is a long time but it goes by quickly. That said.as I mentioned last month, I have decided it’s time to move over and give someone else the chair, while I make space in my brain and my schedule for other things. It was definitely a difficult choice, and I will miss bringing you my selections of music on the Sat Morn Show, but I’ve realized that I need to do this. I want to thank you all for tuning in so faithfully, for sending me comments in the interactive page on CKCu’s website, and on Facebook. …it really means a lot to me. I will continue, for the time being, to do an episode of The Back 40 once every two months, along with Ron Moores and Al Surmachinsky. Today I bring you an all Canadian cast of music that makes me tick. stuff I like. every one of these songs and or performers I put high on my list. I want to share with you all now that after a great deal of pondering, and with some amount of hesitation, I have decided I need more time to get back to writing music, and other things in my life that I have unwittingly been neglecting. So, I have decided to cut back quite a bit on my contribution to CKCU. I’ve been with the station for about 25 years, on air for much of that, and serving on the Board of Directors for a combined length of at least 10 years. Next month, August 19 to be precise, will be my last Saturday Morning Show. I will however be on air occasionally, as a part of the Back 40 collective with Ron Moores and Al Surmachinski (once every second month) and also occasionally filling in on some program or another as my time permits.
