The Board of Directors of Local Initiative Networking Compassion, also known as LINC, has retained Terry Mazzone as its community coordinator to promote drug awareness and education, and harm reduction programs in southern Lorain County, according to a news release.

Joseph âJoeâ Wayne Jacobs, 72, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, June 27, 2021 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Joseph was born April 17, 1949 to Charles S. and Helen J. (Summers) Jacobs in Chicago, IL. He married Judie Rinehart and she preceded him in death. Joe had honorably served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam conflict; upon his return home he was awarded the Purple Heart and though his service was completed, his duty to his country never stopped.

SUPERIOR, Wis. - Shelby Urbanski, 80, Superior, Wis., died Monday, Dec. 7, in Superior Health and Rehab.
Visitation will be from 1:30-2 p.m., followed by a funeral at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Downs Funeral Home in Superior. Pastor Robert Stauffer will officiate. Burial will be in the spring in Clear Lake, Wis.
