Of course mike is keeping his eyes on the road. Lets start with the forecast for today. And this morning a very foggy start. Yes, we are seeing that in the south bay as well as other parts of the bay area as we wake up, take a look at our live camera in san jose. Its foggy and its chilly so we are going to see that for the next couple of hours and then turning very mild as we go into the afternoon with some sunshine. Taking a look at our breezy winds picking up for tomorrow. We are going to stay dry in the forecast as we start out with some cold temperatures and the fog this morning. Kari has a look at our forecast. It is mostly cleared compared to yesterday morning. Weve seen some patches of some fog in some low lying areas. As we take a live look in san jose as the sun rises its all clear. We will have some sunshine for today and a touch cooler heading for thanksgiving and this weekend well continue with the mild and dry weather with our High Temperature today reaching into the low to mid60s. Well, the bay bridge toll plaza metering lights have perhaps turned on in the last couple of minutes. I do see some slowing at the toll plaza, brake lights. As we look at the toll plaza itself the middle lanes are the first to stack up right on schedule. As we look at the map its not as severe as we often see. A lighter pattern for thanksgiving week but we still have some slowing for the areas. Do keep that in mind. A lot
Elementary. Marin county at this point in a category of its own with being in the red county surrounded by a lot of those other purple tier counties. We broke it down by numbers. 51 counties are in the purple category. Just six in the red category. One lone county is in orange. These counties in purple, according to the states covid website, represent nearly 40 Million People in the state or 99. 1 of the states population really in a league of its own. Pa rin marin stands out. In a letter to parents, the superintendent and the School Principal emphasized that families are encouraged to quarantine when needed and some of the school day will be a little different. Dropoff and pickup, drivers are to meet at a designated gate and the drivers are to remain in their cars. Some feel the district may be moving too fast.
