Mar 16, 2021 LISBON In county Municipal Court, a March 22 preliminary hearing was set for Jamie Tice, 20, East Sixth Street, Salem, charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony, for allegedly striking his mother, Kristie Tice, in the eye on March 8 during an argument. Mark A. Walton, 55, Crawford Road, Wellsville, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of having a weapon while under a disability and aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening to kill Cinthia Hannan while holding a handgun, which caused Hannan and her family to flee from the home in fear. Walton was also fined $250, credited with a day in jail and sentenced to an additional 59 days in jail for violating a protection order for interfering with the home where Danise Moore was staying, by writing a letter to another person informing that person to occupy the home until he could return, change the locks and dispose of property.

Feb 19, 2021 LISBON In county Municipal Court, Matthew P. Soldo, 40, Grant Street, Salem, was bound over to the grand jury for an obstructing official business charge for allegedly telling Perry Township police Amanda Hines was not in the home, refused to come back to the door and was found hiding with Hines in a bedroom next to the door on Feb. 11. Diego B. Gonzalez, 32, Youngstown, was bound over to the grand jury on a receiving stolen property charge for allegedly driving a stolen black 2020 Ford Fusion with North Carolina registration on Feb. 9. Gonzalez was credited with seven days served, sentenced to an additional eight days in jail and fined $600 for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

East Liverpool Suspicious activity was reported at 12:59 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Park, where it appears a man was sleeping inside a running vehicle. Officers checked a report of drug activity involving a red-headed male in a white hoodie at 2:12 p.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of Alpha Street, but they were unable to make contact. Stephanie Barnes was cited at 3:31 a.m. Monday in the first block of McKinnon for not having a functional license plate light. Her passenger, Francis Lewis, was served with an active arrest warrant out of East Liverpool Municipal Court A property owner in the 800 block of Fairview Street allowed the city housing inspector and an officer to do a walk-through of a resident without incident at 12:55 pm. Monday.
