A man pistol whipped and shot in philadelphia. The police say he operated an unlicensed cab. He picked up two men at 1 40 at 52nd and market. One in the back and one if the front. And when they asked the money for the ride he immediately started to strike the driver with the handgun and told the victim to give it up. They get in the ride and never announced to say where they were going and starts whacking them with the gun. The one in the backseat apparently fired the gun and struck him. He was able to drive to 52nd and chancellor and flagged down officers pour help. He was taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition and the victim was known in the area for driving an unlicensed cab.
