Spalding residents call for dip near their homes to be sorted Published: 06:44, 04 April 2021
Concerned residents are fed-up with the âminor earth tremorsâ created by lorries going over a significant dip outside their homes.
People living in Halmergate, in Spalding, report brick dust and rattling crockery as trucks travel over the dip.
Now they are calling on Lincolnshire County Councilâs Highways team to sort out the dip after reporting it numerous times over the FixMyStreet website.

Linda Bond, who lives close to the site, said the dip has become worse in recent months.
She said: âWhen big lorries go over itâs like a mini earth tremor.
Spalding resident says her road has more potholes than craters on the moon Published: 16:11, 01 April 2021
A concerned resident says her pothole-ridden road now resembles a lunar landscape - but council bosses say it might take years until it can be fully fixed.
Marie Roe contacted us after seeing pictures of Halmergate in last weekâs Lincolnshire Free Press and is convinced that the situation in Churchill Drive, where she lives, is even worse.
She said: âChurchill Drive has got more potholes than there are craters on the moon.
