Arkansas hurdler Phillip Lemonious earned a loud ovation from the Jamaica fans at the 126th running of the Penn Relay Carnival on Saturday as he claimed the College Championship title in the 110m hurdles with a season best time of 13.48 seconds at Franklin Field.
Second day of action for the Razorbacks in the 126th running of the Penn Relays had Arkansas advancing to the final of the Championship of America 4 x 100 relay along with individuals Connor Washington and Phillip Lemonious on Friday.
Arkansas begins the outdoor season with a crew of Razorbacks competing at the 94th Texas Relays this Thursday through Saturday, March 24-26, at Mike A. Myers Stadium. In the history of the Texas Relays, Arkansas has won a total of 54 relay titles among six relay events and are scheduled to race in five relays – 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 4x800, and sprint medley – this weekend.
No. 1 Arkansas find themselves leading after the first day of the SEC Indoor Championships following an Alabama disqualification in the 5,000m final. The Razorbacks have 37.5 points through five scored finals to lead the field by 10.5 points.
