Two pedestrians died overnight in two seperate crashes. The most recent happened just after five this morning. It involved a driver who left the scene. Only to return an hour later. A Police Report shows 36yearold Victor Rivera gonzalez was driving his truck east on sahara near burnham when a 50yearold man was trying to cross. Its not clear whether or not the man was in a the front right of the truck hit the man and he died at the scene. Police say riveragonzalez kept going. And then returned to the scene an hour later. We took him around back, conducted field sobriety tests which he passed mpreliminary breath test no indication of alcohol his statement was that he was scared and he left and came back and turned himself in. Sergeant strader says bottom line though. Someone died and the driver left the scene. They did arrest leaving the scene of an accident involving death. A 60yearold henderson man was also hit and killed overnight on boulder highway. Metro Police Responded to this sce
