This is really affecting people who are going to Newark Airport, going to catch a flight or pick someone up, leave yourself a lot of extra time or head for routes 1 and 9. You can get off the garden state parkway, take 78 east, get on into Newark Airport that way. Newark airport flights are not affected. New york air train is running without a problem. New jersey turnpike is something to cross off the list. We will take a look at a camera and show you the delay. We will look at another camera this is a webcam. Another camera and show you the delay as you head southbound on the new jersey turnpike. This is right across Newark Airport. So, here you have the inner roadway which is known as the car lanes. You can see traffic is barely moving. Its at a crawl. To the right of that is where the track lanes are. There is no traffic. They diverted everybody into the car lanes. They are taking everybody down to the area where that fire has occurred and they are diverting everybody off. This is s

Engineers late this afternoon obviously deciding that that overpass can stand the usage. The weight of those heavy trucks allowing traffic to finally flow across again. You could see wires dangling across lanes. Drivers saw five hour delays. We get up from like 10 00 this morning and we just got here. Reporter again, state police within the hour confirming the death of that truck driver. At this point they have not released his identity.
