Of the right of way. So to take it a little bit further, once they accept, once public works accepts these as public rights of way, the assessment of 4,000 will go away . Not quite. Its a twostep process. But in essence you are correct. The first step would be for the city to accept these parcels from ocii but in doing so, they would still remain a private parcel in public ownership. D. P. W. Would have to take the second step and incorporate, merge these two lots into the right of way. And at that point, what you said is true, it would no longer be subject to the assessment. Do we know how long that process takes and whether public works has that on their list of things to do . Weve had discussions with public works. It is my belief that the first they are aware of this fact, and second it is my belief they plan to incorporate this into the right of way once accepted. There is a little bit of a technical issue, because streets and sidewalks have to be have to meet certain specificatio

Disciplined me and raised me and helped me through, yes, i love you too, randall. And the fact is the fact is that because this community took care of me and took care of my family, and i knew as supervisor that these conditions still existed in so many of our Public Housing developments that there was nothing that was going to be more important to me than trying to do Something Different to get the work done for the people who live here. [applause] so we set out on a mission. And it was scary. You know, joyce remembers when we went around and we did all of these meetings with people. And heres the thing we talked about r. A. D. And what it would do, and of course, people were very fearful. They were like am i going to bit displaced . Is something going to happen . Whats going to happen . And, sadly, we had a bunch of people who never set foot in any Public Housing development come in and try to invoke a lot of fear amongst the residents. And let me tell you, i appreciate the fact that
Rightofway they frame geary. Geary ask a boundary in the back. I think there is interest in having it more a boulevard where they would face across and be more connected. That is a conversation point with the community. I made add to that. I think our bone zoning boundaries our zoning boundaries are in the center of the street. Early on when we looked at the geary project they did evaluate filling in the pit of geary, unfortunately, the costs were astronomical. It will keep the there and we are forced to deal with that for some time. What do you do in light of the fact it is not going away . That is something over time we have to look at. I agree with you. I just want to say that this makes me very, very happy. I feel like your department is doing outstanding work. Thank you, director. Shortly after seeing and understanding the process that you went be through to get the guidelines down as well. I think this shows such a deep understanding of the community, but also a Good Relationship

One thing i want and i notice it might be off the sur joke, and ive been crying for a number of years, to try and get the grandkids certificates of preference also. We have a lot of them who would love to come back to the community but unfortunately they dont have a certificate. I have one son who was born after we moved and i never used my certificate of preference even though i bought a home. I never used my certificate yet in hopefully if i get mine out, and turn my home inform my daughters name i can get a senior place away from the kids. I whoa love to see some of the grandkids get certificate. Ms. London breed, i used to bring that up then. Maybe you guys could blow in her ear and have get that for the grandkids. But like i said, theyre doing a tremendous job in getting out the information and i know, i have some my wife has some nephews and nieces t
