The Polk County Health Department Today say tests to determine the illness are back, and theyve traced the cause to bad meat from a catered meal eaten by teachers and staff at a october 21 luncheon. The Health Department did not specify where the meat came from where the caterer, but Officials Say the illness occurs when foods are prepared in large quantities and kept warm for long time before serving. 58 teachers and staff became sick with diarrhea.
