About 8 00 or 9 00 tonight. Chopper 5 is live over mission bay in San Francisco where a massive fire torched this building under construction. Crews are on scene for the third day cleaning up and containing hot spots. Its a big pile of rubble right now and crews have been slowly tearing down the building before it collapses on itself. Kpix 5 reporter Juliette Goodrich is live with an update on the demolition. Juliette. Reporter liz, a lot of activity going on throughout the day. Firefighters are on standby checking for hot spots. Just a few minutes ago, there was a hotspot that they had to put out that started to flare up. Firefighters say the danger is far from over.
