Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 29 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has re-assured that the state government is ready to recognise every unsung hero who had fought against British colonialism and was involved in the freedom struggle as the government had done in the past. Biren Singh was speaking at the one-day national dialogue on Tribal Heroes in India’s Freedom Struggle organised by National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Manipur University campus in Imphal on Thursday. Stating that everyone who had contributed to achieve freedom should be honoured, he said that after Narendra Modi became India’s Prime Minister in 2014, the central government has taken up initiative at micro level to recognize all the unsung heroes of India’s Freedom Struggle.
