Reporter this is how far chp says that big rig flew some three stories down and now and investigation is under way. That accident happened around 6 40 this morning and ace hardware truck and a white pickup involved in some kind of collision causing the big rig to fly off highway 37 on to this grassy area where a small fire started. An offduty paramedic and two witnesses stopped and pulled the driver out of the truck. That driver was taken to Kaiser Vallejo where he was later pronounced dead. At the scene, things got more complicated. Turns out the truck was carrying some kind of Hazardous Material making it difficult for firefighters. Hazmat gave the all clear. As for the driver of the white pickup, they refused medical attention on the scene.
