Here you can see scotts creek off wheeler street where the water levels been much higher today. Higher waters been the common thing along several creeks and streams in and around the city. In one part of silverstreet today theyve been keeping their eye on the saluda river. It topped its banks months ago during the historic floods causing a lot of damage to homes that sit at the saluda river resort. The accident happened before 5 00 this morning at the intersection of windsor lake boulevard and two notts road a train was coming around the curve. The amtrak train slammed on the brakes. But ultimately collided with a vehicle and the person. Authorities say during the collision, the train pushed to the suv about 200 yards down the track.
