89 Treta Yuga Plant Species Mentioned In Ramayana To Be Planted Around The Ram Mandir In Ayodhya

The Ayodhya forest department has identified the plant species mentioned in the Ramayana and have secured the approval from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust to sow their seeds in the upcoming Ram Mandir campus, Times of India
Now, appropriate areas and places will be identified for their plantations to subsequently generate the atmosphere and ambience of the Treta Yuga.
The 89 species of trees including the likes of Rakt Chandan, Chandan, Saal, Deodar, Dhaak, Peepal, Nagkesar, Mango, Ashok, Sita Ashok, Parijat, Agar, Lodh amongst others have been distinctly stated in the Ramayana.

New Delhi: The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra on Tuesday (December 15) said that it is going to start a mass contact and contribution campaign for the construction of the grand temple in Ayodhya. During the campaign, the public will also be made aware of the historical significance of the `Janmabhoomi Movement`.
