More rains are coming up for Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the coming two to three days. Kerala has already recovered from the deficiency, dropping to 13 percent. This deficiency is expected to drop further due to the rains in the next two to three days.
The state of Kerala is all set to see heavy rains in the coming four days. There have been moderate rains during the last 24 hours. Rains will begin today, tomorrow will be heavier with the most amount of rains likely to be seen on August 31.
Recently, we have seen rains picking up over many parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Interior Karnataka as well as over Rayalaseema. We expect good Monsoon rains to occur over many parts of Telangana, Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala for at least next one week.
These rains won't be very heavy but some amount of decent rains may be seen. Namely, Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, Interior Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema are likely to see good showers.
Kerala has not been able to catch up with the deficiency and remains deficient with a shortfall of 21 percent as of now. But we can expect some rains today with heavy spells, tomorrow also similar conditions may be seen.
