Kellogg sentenced Hawkins to 10 years in prison during his hearing in a Buchanan County courtroom this afternoon.Hawkins was the driver of the vehicle last August that pulled up along side the car in which Raelynn Craig was a passenger. Two passengers in Hawkins' car, 21-year-old Marcain Kimbrough-Ballard of St. Joseph and 21-year-old Caimon Ramone Stillman of St. Joseph, opened fire. ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) A third man has been sentenced for his role in a drive-by shooting that killed a 2-year-old St. Joseph girl.
Te’Avion Waunya Hawkins pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder in the Aug. 9 death of Raelynn Craig. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, The St. Joseph News-Press reported.
Hawkins was driving a vehicle when shots were fired at another vehicle, hitting Raelynn Craig who died from her injuries. Two adults in the car with the child were injured.
As part of the plea deal, Hawkins was given a shorter sentence because he helped identify his two co-conspirators.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (AP) A St. Joseph man was sentenced to 24 years in prison Friday for his role in the shooting death of a 2-year-old girl.
Caimon Stillman, 21, pleaded guilty in February to second-degree murder in the Aug. 9 death of Raelynn Craig, KQ2 reported.
Prosecutors said Raelynn was sitting in the backseat of a car when it was hit by gunfire from another vehicle. Two adults with her were injured.
Prosecutors sought a life sentence, while Stillman s defense attorney argued for 17-20 years. Buchanan County District Court Judge Patrick Robb sentenced Stillman to 24 years.
