The Helias Crusaders brought the intensity to the court Tuesday night.
The Crusaders took care of the basketball on offense and locked down on defense, gritting their way to a 57-48 Central Missouri Activities Conference victory against the state-ranked Hickman Kewpies at Rackers Fieldhouse.
The extra points added up to a victory. The Helias Crusaders scored bonus points in seven of their wins Wednesday night on their way to a 41-27 victory against the Jefferson City Jays in Central Missouri Activities Conference wrestling action at Rackers Fieldhouse.
Two duals, but just 12 total matches. The Helias Crusaders tried to make the best of a short night Thursday at Rackers Fieldhouse. “Two conference duals out of the way, but you just wish you could get more matches against bigger schools like this,” Helias coach Weston Keleher said after the Crusaders posted big victories against the Battle Spartans and Rock Bridge Bruins in Central Missouri Activities Conference action.
