“The BBMP has installed many foot over bridges (FOBs) in the area. There is one right outside the Satellite bus station, despite a traffic signal being present at the same spot. The announcement comes while Namma Yatri is celebrating its drivers collectively earning more than Rs 100 crore without paying any stipulated commission amount. The application built in partnership with Bengaluru’s auto drivers by Juspay Technologies has a community of 89,000+ drivers and is currently serving over 17 lakh customers.
A commuter noted that a few buses can be tracked individually but are not available to view when checked on the routes they are designated to. This issue was pointed out earlier too, when the application was first launched.

Previously, aggregator applications such as Uber Pool and ZipGo private buses have also faced this issue as they had not obtained the required stage carriage licence.
