The metro stretch which started operations on March 6 this year covers a distance of 5.5 kilometres and includes Bund Garden, Yerawada, Kalyani Nagar, and Ramwadi stations
On Tuesday morning, X users highlighted the incident of a man standing on the Metro’s Purple Line. Vinay Kumar, a netizen, posted a picture of the person standing in the active line and said he spotted the person adjacent to the KR Pura Bridge at 8.04 am.
Mumbai Auto Ridership: Passenger rights activist Gaurang Vora said more people prefer hailing autos than getting refused multiple times by app-based aggregator cabs. Also, the waiting time for aggregators is 15-30 minutes, while riders also complain about ‘unavailability’ of these cabs in many areas.
A commuter noted that a few buses can be tracked individually but are not available to view when checked on the routes they are designated to. This issue was pointed out earlier too, when the application was first launched.
