Reporter that is right. Folks say the system was in this area for 25 to 30 minutes but they say it felt like forever. If you look behind me youll see the sheer strength of these winds that came through the area. It tore the roof off this public works building. Damage from tuesday nights wicked weather is keeping crews busy all day in Cape May County. Most of the areas affected are in the lower township and the wildwoods. It blew from 25 minutes and the rain came down, if you had a fire hose on you, that is what it was like. The mayor says his area really got pounded, strong winds toppled over winds and the most Severe Damage was to the public works building and the powerful wind ripped off the roof like it was a toy.
