Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday will dedicate multiple projects including an All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) and a fertiliser plant, to the people of Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur district.
Gorakhpur is the home turf of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, which he has represented in the Lok Sabha five times. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gorakhpur and dedicate national development projects worth over Rs 9,600 crore on December 7, according to an official release by PMO.
PM Modi will dedicate to the nation the Gorakhpur fertilizer plant, whose foundation stone was laid by him in 2016 and which after being in disuse for more than 30 years has been revived and built at a cost of around Rs 8,600 crore.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gorakhpur and dedicate national development projects worth over Rs 9,600 crore on December 7, said a press release by PMO.
“AIIMS Guwahati is part of new prestigious institutions that were conceived under the 5th Phase of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY). Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is taking forward the work of Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee; it was because of him that the spell of almost 50 years was broken for the 2nd AIIMS to be born even as a concept. While the short-term objective of establishing new AIIMS in various parts of India is to reduce the ‘gaps’ in affordable tertiary health care, the long-term vision is to generate wellness amongst the general population of India,” Vardhan said in his speech.
