Today Portugal has registered two more deaths related to covid-19 and 271 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus, according to the bulletin of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
According to the epidemiological bulletin, released today by the DGS, 479 patients are hospitalised in wards, 13 more than on Sunday, and 119 in intensive care, six more.
The data also reveals that 445 people were reported to have recovered, bringing the total number to 785,063 since the beginning of the pandemic in Portugal, in March 2020.
Active cases in Portugal continue to record a decrease, with 25,783 registered today (minus 176).

Portugal has today registered 41 deaths related to covid-19 and 718 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus, according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
The DGS epidemiological bulletin also reveals that 2,165 patients are hospitalised (15 fewer than on Saturday), of which 484 are in intensive care, minus eight.
