Its accentuated and multiplied when you get surf in the 6 to 8foot range. Reporter boats staying in port for the day including party fishing and whale watching. The swells off shore promising too bumpy a ride. High seas, high winds creates a safety issue. So we didnt go today. Eyeful. We were down here two nights ago and it was like nothing, so i said in a couple days its going to be a surfers dream and obviously thats the case. Reporter surfers hitting every beach up and down the coast. For them this is when it gets fun. You surf in new england, you wait for the storms to come up and ive been tracking the storms for 18 days now. Reporter surf shop owners warning conditions might be too much for the inexperienced. Paddle boarding is waves and theyre too powerful so they keep knocking us off the boards. Reporter lifeguards in beach buggies will patrol tomorrow to keep people out of the water. Erin good morning, New Hampshire. We hope you had a nice, long holiday weekend. Sean turns out the weather was nice. Out on the seacoast is still seeing some surf. Kevin the surf could be five to ten feet today. It is interesting. Certainly more than were used to normally. We could see dangerous rip currents at times. Theres a High Surf Advisory in effect. Stop the presses and check this out. A couple of rain showers during the overnight hours. Thats sweet music to a lot state that have been the most drought affected in far southern New Hampshire. They really made it up about as far north as manchester or so. Well widen the view. You can see the spinning action going on right there to the south of new england. Youre currently dealing with just rain through the area. Its not terribly heavy on Storm Tracker 6 live double scan you can see we have rain in parts of south jersey especially. Still a freezing mix. If youre up in allentown and near reading you may be getting a little bit of ice mixing with that rain so be careful as youre heading out but thats the least of our problems.
