POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - Georgia educators are continuing to get their COVID-19 vaccines. On Saturday teachers and staff from Savannah-Chatham County Public School System got a little help from ten Chatham County healthcare providers.
One of them was Pooler Pharmacy, which was giving out the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The clinic was set up like a drive-thru. The owner says they were able to give out 500 doses to educators, as well as other Georgians eligible for the vaccine.

POOLER, Ga. (WTOC) - Seems thereâs no shortage of cow-related news in the Coastal Empire these days.
An officer with the Pooler Police Department found a cow of Highway 80, this time male.
The officer knew the cowâs owner and waited with the animal for his owner to pick him up, according to a Facebook post by the Pooler Police Department.
âThe bovine is feeling fine while enjoying some grass,â Pooler Police wrote in the post.

Kingdom Life Christian Fellowship has officially been transformed into a COVID-19 vaccine clinic. Itâs thanks to a unique partnership to bring the vaccine directly to the community.
âMany of the elderly canât get out or they canât get online to put their name online. Itâs a problem for many elderly and so making it available through the churches is an excellent idea,â said Evelyn Cruse of Pooler.

But for now, those projects are halted after the state granted an appeal filed by competing healthcare networks.
