The birds are a great addition to oakland. The ground is covered with bird droppings but neighbors say it is just part of nesting season. The people around here deal with the bird pop on our cars and we live with it. But postal workers got tired of their dirty trucks and that post office hired a tree trimming crew that disturbed lots of birds. They were freaking out. Another neighbor took this video, if you look you can see a small bird flapping its wings. While crews cut the trees people rescued five chicks from the parking lot. Workers say they all have injuries consistent with falling out of the nest. Some neighbors worry some chicks were killed during the tree trimming. They really made a big mistake and a lot of us are furious about it. That post Office Spokesperson insists the crew didnt kill birds.
