Pam and steve all of the streets were opened just after 9 this evening when the evacuation orders were dropped. That being said there is still work that is taking place on the roof of this building in this distance. You cant see the work from this angle but you can see the lights that are on. There were a number of different stories about what happened out there today but heres what fire crews are saying tonight. They got a call after workers from the building youre looking at alerted them that a strut used to hold up a platform gave away on the top of the building. That platform then began leaning at a 15 degree angle. There is a 30 ton concrete pump on the platform that was being used. There were fears that something could fall off. Streets were closed off and 16 buildings evacuated. Fire crews say the platform and the pump are both secure tonight. I asked crewswhy all the stories. The weather is starting to warm up, and as more people head to the beach , there are a few things they need to keep in mind. Sot we came to have fun but now im scared to go in the water. These 2 men were fearless as waves were crashing at baker beach in San Francisco. On monday night, a 22 year old rescued below the cliff nearby. He was attempting to save another man who was appeared to be unconcious. Crews eventually lost sight of him. For some, these waters are intimidating. Sot i didnt want to go too far because the waves are really big and im not trying to get washed awayon tuesday afternoon, a 9 year old boy washed out into the ocean at Monastery Beach in carmel. One woman is dead and two others injured after a shooting in San Francisco. And police are still looking for the gunman. The shooting happened just before eleven yesterday morning in the citys oceanview neighborhood. Two other people were also caught in the crossfire. They are doing okay this morning. But a 65year old woman died in the shooting. She has been identified as xiu wu. Police say all three victims were innocent bystanders. And its not the first time some
