The Schuylkill River trail watch is officially launched. 80 approachable faces Police Officers runners, walkers, bikers, volunteers, cruising the path monitoring activity and reporting any potential safety issues on the trail, day and night. Part of being a Strong Community is actually volunteer your time. Runners, walkers, all realize theyre a part of the same community on the trail. The citizens are part of what makes the city great and so working together getting to know who else is out there on the trail can make a big difference. Other improvements along the trail include working lights an new geo coding system if you call police and tell them which mile marker youre at they will know exactly where you are. Three weeks ago agents raided more than a dozen homes and offices connected to union boss johnny dock including the local 98 union hall and the city hall offices of kennys supporter councilman bobby heenan. The search warrants were looking for evidence of possible crimes including embezzlement and extortion. Kenney says his office has done nothing wrong. Federal government is doing their job.
