Police say a man fell on to the tracks and was struck and killed by an oncoming train. Were told the victim was a tourist who just finished seeing the sites of the city. Memorial thats growing for the firefighters who lost their lives. They were taken to their respective Funeral Homes we saw a huge showing of solidarity in this community. If there was a firefighter or Law Enforcement officer able to make it they were in wilmington this morning. Hundreds gathered to line the streets and salute two heros who lost their lives. Wilmington lieutenant Christopher Leach and senior firefighter jerry fickes were taken to their respective Funeral Homes. It was quiet as they were moved. Its a community thats deeply hurting right now. The two men lost their lives as a result of the fire that ignited on lake view road.
