Hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. What makes it more disturbing, whats that nicole so worried, is this is the second shooting in a day here. Thursday afternoon an 18yearold lost his life in a shooting at the same complex. Its innocent people mo live here and i dont think that its fair for innocent people to live in fear. The search continues for two fugitives who escaped from a california jail, and tonight we have new video showing the arrest of the guy who broke out with them. Inside Florida State universitys main library. Students in the building huddled together as an officer talked over a loudspeaker. If anybody has been shot, call 911 on your cell phone. Reporter the shooting happened around midnight inside. Ier library open 24 hours. Three people were injured and taken to the hospital. The fsu police challenged the gunman outside the library. They gave him commands. He did not and fired a shot at the officers. Reporter the gunman was shot and killed. With finals approaching, the library was pack with hundreds when the shooting happened. A photo from the student inside the Library Shows bags abandoned as well as laptops as well as an officer checking bags as the building was cleared and students leaving with their hands up. The Tallahassee Police department is now leading the investigation. We have forensic technicians on scene. We have our homicide investigators on scene. What happened in a residential area north of new york city last night turned into a mass casualty event. And its a huge warning about what can happen anywhere vehicles encounter Railroad Crossings in this country. This was a commuter train on the metronorth line out of new york. It hit an suv on the tracks in valhalla new york. The resulting flash fire consumed much of the first car and seemed to fuse the suv to the front of the train. The death toll stands at six including the driver now confirmed to be a mother of three. Its the third busiest rail line in the nation.
