The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed an anticipatory bail application filed by PG Manu, a former senior Government Pleader from Kerala who has been accused of rape.
The Court dismissed a pre-arrest bail plea by PG Manu, a Senior Government Pleader who resigned after he was accused of rape. The Court added that the accused could approach the magistrate for bail after surrendering.
The Kerala High Court on Tuesday allowed a request to have an in-camera hearing for the anticipatory bail application filed by PG Manu, a former Senior Government Pleader (GP) who has been accused of rape.
Advocate P G Manu had been appointed as senior government pleader in 2021. Prior to that, he had served as a special prosecutor in Kochi for the National Investigation Agency.
