terrorists in that situation. the focus group late last week that came out, mark, and we had quite a few reporters, it was striking how many trump voters went to another level. they re almost done. now, granted these were college educated trump voters and i think there was a socioeconomic divide among trump voters on that front, but that s the first group that s leaving or the next group that s leaving. and as peter heart told you, he s been doing so many of these focus groups over the last 44 years and people have always been disappointed in a president, presidents have had you have times, but he said what was striking even coming from trump voters is how embarrassed they are. and that really is kind of republicans still might have some wins when it comes to future legislative agenda, but the idea of the president representing something bigger than your party or your base, that is something that has been absent from this white house. he won t expand. he never right, michael?
values are not the same as the president s values or if it s pushing back as we ve seen others do. they have to, because this president, to your point, is really creating his own space and it s only limited to one person, and that s him. and so i think that you re going to find a lot of folks on the hill, you re going to certainly see it in the various agencies having to carve that space out to get some things done and hopefully bring the president into that conversation in a way that he can sign off on it ultimately. and that s going to be a real challenge. by the way, and i m going not going to play another chip because we re running low on time. peter heart asked that same focus group on a number of different officials, mike pence, paul ryan. i m just going to single out the tough on squlon kelly because the group in general, strong strong, reliable, baby-sitter, finger in a dike. but that s all a bunch of people feeling good about it, though

who is author of this book, the kennedy half century and director of the center for politics at the university of virginia. professor, i ve enjoyed reading this. it s a wonderful book. what s interesting about it, what struck me initially is that president kennedy s achievements in office were regard by some as not all that remarkable, but you conducted an extensive survey by peter heart and jeff guerin and it found kennedy to be by a wide margin, the most esteemed president since 1953. why is that? gregg, there is no question that a lot of it is the assassination itself. the blood from that assassination, that horrible event on elm street, the real nightmare on elm street in
