At 10 00 oclock this morning at 1500 block in elmwood street in folcroft that 25 yearold male officer was responding to some type of drug related incident. Where he was shot at least, six times, in the face, in the arms, in the legs, and in the groin. He was stabilized at mercy fitzgerald hospital before being transported once again, by hell cooperate tore penn Presbyterian Hospital. This happened, it began around 10 00 oclock this morning as you heard, but he was not transported here until 11 00. We are hearing family members, friend transported here to penn Presbyterian Hospital, to be with that officer as you can imagine, surgeons and doctors here rushed to save his life.
