SPRING MILLS An illegal firearm sale or transfer was investigated by state police at Rockview.
According to police, the incident took place on July 8, 2020 along Penns Valley Road in Gregg Township, Centre County. The incident took place around 3:32 p.m., police said.
Door pried open
LOCK HAVEN Sometime between May 8 and May 11, someone pried the hasp and padlock from the door of a trailer parked on Ridge Drive according to Woodward Township Police. The hasp and trailer was allegedly damaged from it. It is currently unknown if there was anything removed from the trailer.

Theft by deception
BELLEFONTE A Bellefonte woman reported to state police at Rockview that someone used her identity to open an unemployment claim in the state of Kentucky. The incident occurred at 9 a.m. on Jan. 31.
Car strikes embankment
BELLEFONTE Jasmine N. Hunt, 21, of Julian, was the driver of a 2010 Honda Civic that left Route 220 in Union Township and struck an embankment, a fence and a mailbox before coming to stop against another embankment in a field, according to state police at Rockview.
The accident occurred at 2:19 p.m. on Feb. 22.
Police said neither Hunt, nor a passenger in her car, a 1-year-old female, were injured. The car suffered major damage and was towed from the scene.
Two-vehicle crash
JERSEY SHORE State police at Lamar investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place at 7:24 a.m. on Jan. 16.
According to police, a 2018 Ford Escape being driven by Joyce Spring, 56, of Loganton was traveling North on state Route 880. She was slowing down for traffic control and slid across the travel lanes when she applied the brakes. The Escape crashed into a 1999 Ford Explorer being driven by Amelia Smith, 19, of Loganton.
There were no injuries in the crash, police said.
One-vehicle crash
MILL HALL A one-vehicle crash was investigated by state police at Lamar on Jan. 16.
According to police, a 2007 Chevrolet Impala being driven by John Mayes, 39, of Lock Haven was exiting state Route 220 onto Mill Hall Road. As Mayes was traveling across a bridge, he lost control of the vehicle due to black ice.
One-vehicle crash
HAINES TOWNSHIP State police at Rockview investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place at the intersection of Penns Valley Road and Kramer Road in Haines Township, Centre County.
According to police, a 2020 Hyundai Kona being driven by Troy Harrison, 29, of State College was traveling along Kramer Road and was attempting to make a right turn onto state Route 45. An unknown vehicle traveling west along state Route 45 crested the hill. Harrison attempted to avoid the vehicle and left the roadway. The Kona wound up in a ditch.
The incident took place around 4:56 p.m. on Dec. 10.
